Raw Chocolate Peanut Butter Slice

Posted on November 16th, 2016

After having cravings for peanut butter the other week I decided to make a quick raw chocolate peanut butter slice. While I do not often eat peanut butter due to peanuts being known for containing cadmium, a heavy metal, I did enjoy making this up for a treat.

Chocolate Avocado Banana Mousse

Posted on November 16th, 2016

Avocadoes have to be one of my favourite foods to eat and I can honestly find a way to utilise avocadoes in almost anything, I love them so much! Just because foods are made refined sugar free doesn’t mean that they are healthy, some sort of sugar still has been used regardless if it is more natural or not. I have made this version reasonably healthy for a treat, however it is still to be enjoyed in moderation like all things nice.

Herbed Eggplant Chickpea Dip

Posted on November 16th, 2016

Eggplant has to be one of my favourite vegetables, it is so versatile and its purple skin contains phytonutrients which are powerful antioxidants that help fight off free radicals and protect our cells from damage. Eggplant is able to take on-board many different flavours without being over powering and can easily be hidden into many recipes.
I really like eating hummus as a snack with vegetable sticks so I often play around with what else I can do to change it up.
