Pineapple and Turmeric Ice-Cream
Pineapples are a great source of vitamin C and manganese. They also contain bromelain which are enzymes that are effective at digesting proteins and also aiding indigestion and reducing inflammation. Turmeric on the other hand is being extensively studied for its powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. This refreshing healthy ice-cream is perfect when you are craving that something sweet.
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into a loaf tin and place in the freezer for at least 8 hours. If you are able to, stir ice-cream every 2 hours while setting. This helps give the ice-cream a nicer consistency.
  3. When ready to eat, you may need to allow ice-cream to sit on the bench for 15-20 minutes to soften before scooping.
Recipe Notes

Try adding ½ tsp ginger powder for something different.

This ice-cream will have more of an icy consistency compared to normal ice-cream but still very tasty and refreshing.
